Friend of mine is running a BD tranny. Couple of sled pulls later and it was trashed. Her stock tranny with ~400hp lasted almost the full season if not more. I definately wouldn't go with BD. I recommend DTT, Goerends, Suncoast.

There you go Don!!! Man if I only built tranny's!!! I e-mailed you this morning too.. THanks!!

I don't know many people running BD's tranny's?? The local 4x4 shop here is a dealer and he wanted to talk me inot one but gotta do my research first.. I haven't seen a price of NADP's yet but I will post them all when I get my re-search done.. Most of them are around 5k...

Shane,

Just keep it stock!! Isn't it fun living life on the edge pushing that power thru your stocker?? (edge of the road )

Have you noticed any sign yet that it was failing?? So far so good, with mine. But it won't be exactly unexpected when/if it does fail. I am just about to change out my fluid and filter again at my self-imposed 20k maintenance schedule.

I would say whoever is closest to you that builds the best stuff. I had an hts shipped here becuase they have good deals on shipping and a local guy installed it for me. I was without a truck for part of the day thats it. I was asleep while it was gone anyway. everybody told me get a billet input shaft and some type of better flexplate. the other billet shafts are up to you.

GOERENDS all the way, at least for me since his shop is only 35min from me! Dave will always do you good, if you'd ever meet him you would have no other choice. Just a super smart, honest guy.
