Fuel Tank Vent Mod??

That was a great tip, and here's one more. Once you have the tank lowered down 2-inches as OOPS suggested, loop a piece of string or twine around each fitting and use it to compress the plastic locking connector. I struggled for 30 minutes on the middle fitting with my fingers before trying the string, and then had it off within a minute. When I reinstalled the tank, I ditched those BS quick-connect fittings and used 3/8" fuel line directly to the tank with a hose clamp.

I would think Yes! Easier IN is easier OUT?

i dont think any gains would actually be seen, from what i have heard and ordered, it just relocates thevent higher in the tank and the vent tub higher in the filler neck, allowing for more fuel, longer driving distance, and shorter fill up times (if your not the guy who hears click and thats it)

yup...extra 3-4 gallons without the wait. You can fill up all the way to the filler neck.
