The tank has an extra 4 gallons for heat expansion of the tank, this kit moves the vent and there by removing any space for heat expansion.
So if its 100 deg's out, you fill your tank to the tippy top, drive one block and park it. About 1 hour later you will come out to diesel spilling out the fill cap, all down the side of your truck. So if you plan on parking in the hot summer, don't fill it all the way up.
I did mine last weekend, It a great mod to do.

i just got my vent ordered this morning.
now for a bypass oil filter and some gauges and a FASS ??? than a chip and a new lawn tractor
