Fuel tank vent kit??
I am looking for the fuel tank vent kit? Does anyone know how much and where I can get one? Can the kit be made by local auto parts? Any comments good or bad and how hard is the install?
Just someone who is really tried on spending a 1/2 hour trying to fill the fuel tank!!!

Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's not that difficult. The hardest part is watching your DTE go "0" and your still driving!
Key is, is to have as less fuel in the tank as possible. That's a big tank to wrestle with, especially if you do not have a lift or are by your self. Just FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS that Dave sends you and your in the clear.
Watching your DTE go "0" for 60 more miles. Dropping your tank and installing the vent mod. Filling up in less than 10 minutes to the neck. PRICELESS.

Thanks for the the information. Do I really have to drop the tank? Or would it be possible to just lift the bed half way up? Which do you recommend that would be easier or the best way?
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Dropping the tank isn't hard. The worst part of it is removing the fuel return line. The clip can be a pain to get to sometimes. With some patience though it does come apart.

I will be installing the mega 60 gallon as soon as it comes out. Is this vent mod something that could be taken care of by the new tank or should I still do it to the new one before I install it.
