Best place to tap is where the line goes into the CP3 or where it comes out of the fuel filter. As far as size, I'm running -4an line on mine. It's a little overkill but it works just fine. I'd think something along the lines of 1/4" ID would work. Your gonna need a tapped banjo (you can get that from either geno's garage, Rod at Wildcat diesel sells a complete kit, or from Merrick at Laredo Performance Diesel) and I don't know what else. Get ahold of either Rod or Merrick and they'll tell ya exactly what ya need.

Geno's has a replacement billet alluminum cap for your Fuel Filter canister that is already drilled and tapped just for a FP gauge. Might want to take a look at it. Thats how I plan on doing my FP gauge. -Steve

Heck, I am computer challenged! Don't ask for a link! It's there, go to dodge/cummins accessories and look for the fuel lines-banjo fittings, etc... Its called-I believe- "billet cap". When you click on it it'll show you a pic. The fitting goes in the center top of the cap. -Steve

Any reason we can't just drill and tap the stock filter cap? I have not changed my fuel filter yet, so I'm not sure how flimsy it is.

If you use the filter cap you will need to disconnect the sender every time you change the filter. You will also be reading pre filter. I got a banjo bolt from Geno's and tapped into the bottom of the filter holder, that way I am getting post filter pressure. I should be able to tell when my filter is getting dirty. But that's just me.
Filter Cap $ 59.00
Banjo Bolt $ 7.00
Gaskets (2) $ 2.00
