fuel pressure guage pegged
2006 Mega 6 speed air dog 150, smarty, isspro's. Took the truck for a spin last night. Truck started right up, runs perfect. On the way home I noticed that my fuel pressure guage was almost pegged at 40psi. I'm usually between 10-15. Fuel filter is about 3 months old. I haven't changed the water seperator filter yet. Truck sits most of the time. Since it runs so well, and I have no leaks, I would have to think that the gauge is bad? Would the truck even run with 40psi of fuel? https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...s/confused.gif

Is the gauge on of the new EV2's? I have one and the sending unit went bad a week or so after installing it. It caused the exact problem you described. I called Isspro thinking it was the gauge. They said they had some bad sending units and that they bet this was my problem. They sent a replacement sending unit to me but I have not had time to replace it yet. All they ask was for me to send the bad one in to them so they could check it. Great company to deal with.
