fuel pressure gauge?
i just bought an electonic Autometer fuel pressure gauge and i was wondering where in the system i sould put it. the truck is an 04.5 with 110 hp injectors, edge ez, tst, afe intake and straight pipe 4 inch exhaust, holley blue pump inline and a built tranny by suncoast. the problem is that with the injectors in know it starts to pop when i have the edge box all the way up and when i put the power and torque settings on the tst box anything above 3 and 2 it starts to pop. just wanting to see if i need more fuel or not to the lift pump. have a fass pump on order but dont want to put it on if i dont need to.
thanks adam

They tapped into my FASS line just about the firewall point. This was easiest place to run wiring through my firewall access hole for all my gauage/box stuff.
A lot seem to use banjo bolt into the injection pump or OE filter cap replacement with pressure fitting. My OE filter is bypassed completely, so not an option for me. I also have the electric Autometer Ultra-Lite Fuel Pressure gauge. Like it alot.

Yesterday on a DynoJet with Bully Dog Triple Dog with Performance program loaded and TST(Twins program) on 6/6 was 503rwhp. I can plug in the EZ and turn up the TST to 7/7 and get more power, but usually throw High Rail pressure codes and stumble on the high end. I use the same DynoJet at a LS performance shop to compare mods. Just a speed drum for diesels, no torque hookup. But I can tell what is adding power and what isn't. First dyno stock was 280rwhp Sept 2004. My real test is the last 1/4 mile ET at the track, which hopefully will be better tonight at Houston Raceway Park. Best 1/4 mile ET so far is 13.6s. Last week swapped out for a tighter TC and upped the wastegate to 55psi. Hope for better times today.

Well I did get a few better times tonight. 13.36s 1/4 with 1.87 60', this is mostly due to the new TC and new clutches Michael added while the trans was out. This will have to do until next year. Then I will be in the 12s and maybe low 12s before done.

How does the 66 handle EGTs on a run like that?
