fuel pressure gauge
i want to install a fuel pressure and was wondering which is more important to monitor. the lift pump pressure or the rail pressure? i'm told that some the diablo programs will increase RP. i'm just curious which i should monitor cuz it will depict which gauge i buy as well.

LIFT.
Rail pressure is also important, but only when you are running a fueling box that has the ability to drain the rail, which, from your signature you are not.
Do you have a picture of your trailer in the "Rigs & Trailers" thread?

the quadzilla sounds like a good deal, but i was trying to keep it simple and just add a third gauge to my pillar. now i'm not trying to add the third gauge for looks and to be cool, i want it there cuz i like to know what my truck is doing. if the lift pump pressure is more important than thats what i'll put the gauge in for. if the rail pressure is more important then i'll gauge it. i'm just trying to get some different opinions to see what i should do.

Really, I wouldn't just get the rail, if you are going to only do ONE have it be the LP pressure after the filter canister.
It's a difference of about $95.00 total in parts for the mechanical FP, or like $200+ for a rail pressure gauge (at least, one that would go in a pod).

the quad gauge looks like a pretty handy tool, but i don't want to cludder up the inside of my truck too much. if i have no reason to monitor my RP why waste the time. i'll keep all of this mind if i go to a bigger fueling box where the rail pressure is more important. thanks guys.
