Fuel pressure gauge, 16 or 30 psi?

I have a Westach combo in the SRT10 pillar. I figure I need an FP gauge. Westach makes a 16psi or a 30 psi. Which should I get? Any tips?

Thanx.

I'd get the 30 psi gauge. You'll need it with an aftermarket system. I figure you will have one soon with the Smarty. Lol.

Myself....I would go with the 30. With the mods you already have, you are probably running on low fuel psi anyhow, and will be upgrading after getting a feel for what your fuel pressure is. I run 20 psi with the Walbro, and can adjust it higher if need be. You''ll max out a 16psi guage right off the bat.

30 is the max you need. The first stage of the cp3 pump is actually a low pressure gear pump chamber supplying the actual first (of three) pumping chambers with a pressure of 150-180 psi. If your going big fueling mods, volume (gpm) are more important than pressure. By the way get that K&N filter off your cummins and put it on a gasser where it belongs....

Thanx NJ. The K&N filter left a while ago. I put on a big oval Amsoil filter w/a prefilter a while ago. I should change that in my signature.

Thanx.
