Fuel Leak Help please

ok guys first i thought the leak was comming from my rail but i think i found that its comming from the bottom of my cp3. my truck wasnt leaking any fuel then i removed the cp3 and the rail and put them back on and had a leak. i couldnt find the leak comming from the rail so i checked the cp3 put my hand under it and my hand was soaked in fuel. so my question is, is where can fuel be leaking out of the cp3? can it be leaking from anywhere or is there only a couple places 4 a cp3 to be leaking from? i would rather not take the cp3 off again and put it back on to fix the leak so is there a couple things i can just re tighten and check or should i just take it off clean evgerything and put it abck on? thanks 4 the help guys.

Check all fuel lines into or out of the CP3...then restart. Unless you blew a plug...there is only a few places for it to leak.

i checked all fuel lines. how would i of blew a plug? would it run bad if i did that? becuase it runs perfectly fine just with a drip leak. so i hope thats not the case. i took the cp3 off and sent it out to be modded and got it back and put it back on and now it leaks.

I'd be callin' whoever modded it for ya. It could be as simple as one of the lines, or it could one of several o-rings that seal the parts of the case. Did you re-use the sealing washers on the lines? Could be one of those as well. Just need to clean it all off and watch while someone starts it to see exactly where it is coming from.

Before you call who did the work. Clean it up and make sure that things are tight. Then have someone run the rpm's up to around 2400 and with a bright light look for leaks.

Mine leaked from between the case halves. Non modded though. Relaced under warrenty. Others have had similar issues.

my non modded pump leaked between the two case halves...and it still seeps every winter.wipe/clean everything down so you can pinpoint the leak.....I would advise against feeling around with your hands for leaks tho...use an inspection mirror and a good flash light to find the leak.
