Front End Springs...to change or not??

Just got some new shocks and was wondering if swapping out the front springs to after market springs is worth the $$. Got Bilstein 5100's...
What brand should I be looking at if I do?

www.thurenfabrication.com. Don offers some great riding 3" coils. I'd get his adjustable trackbar at the same time to re-center the wheels.

I would say yes... Carli or Thuren or Dialed Motorsports like I have. with that road armor I would do a 3/4in suspension system in the front.

Don uses Carli coils for his 3" lift...so you could either order from Thueren or Carli and get the same thing...

What are your plans for the back leafs?

Don's are linear rate and Carli's are variable rate. $111 price reduction also. Dab more lift with Don's also.

Would be really nice if someone offered a good front spring at less than a 3" height!

I agree with AH64ID! I need a 1-1/2 to 2" spring variable rate for the better ride empty and virtually no lift. Pull a 5er and cannot raise the truck.

I'm actually dropping my 2" level for a 1" level because I don't like how it sits loaded without a lot of air in the bags.

I originally had Lorenz's coils and they raised the front 2.5" max when new.

I was thinking the exact same thing, if you think of it, post of pics of before/after/stock if you can.

Thanks!

Here are some pics of my dad's '06 I put Carli's leveling kit and other components on. After the front-end weight compressed the suspension, the lift works out to be 2.75" and it only sits a 1/4" higher in the front.

Before (stock w/ 285/70s):

After:

Looks better with new wheels and tires mounted:
