My only gripe about this bumper is that there is not enough room to mount a 6 inch offroad light between the center channel iron and top bar. It would be easy enough to fab a simple bracket though. Dodge complicates the clearance by leaving the grill attached to the hood when opening....but I like that.

I am sure NRiver won't mind me posting this older pic of his truck. He has a Buckstop. I agree with you that it looks awesome. I like it better than my Ranch Hand, but for the cost difference I was willing to settle. And, I got a great deal on a "scratch and dent" RH Legend winch ready series. Pics in my gallery.
here is the Buckstop on NRiver's.

Here is mine from Buckstop. It has 6 mount bolts on each side. Uses the 4 holes that the tow hooks mount with, plus a second bracket that mounts on each side that has two bolts from the bottom. Rated for a Warn 16.5K winch. Trust me, it aint going anywhere either!

Most of these heavy duty bumpers weigh around 250 pounds, then approx 80 pounds of factory weight is removed (bumper, cover, etc). So you are adding about 175 pounds to the front end when done. This is of course not including the winch.

Does having a front hitch really help getting a trailer in really tight spaces? It seems most of these bumpers have a front hitch sleeve. I have my trailer at a storage facility because it is so hard to snake it inot the spot at my house ($100 a month). It would fit in the spot, but with the roof overhang, narrow street and wall, I just can't get it it there.
Thanx.

I still find it easier to back the trailer. Have tried the front receiver a few times. The thing you lack when pushing the trailer, is the side view mirrors. You need two people on each side to watch and make sure you dont hit any thing.
