Exclamation FP or gauge problem?????

Last night I smoked me a duracrap, but after i backed out of it, my FP didnt come back up and stayed at 5psi. While drivin home it would return to normal, but when i goosed it, it would drop back down and stay there again. I replaced the fuel filter this morning hopeing that was it, but now it wont go above 5psi even letting it idle. Do ya'll think its the lift pump, which is stock, or could it be the gauge or isolator? BTW my RP was reading normal the whole time. Thanx for your help.

Is your FP, a mech gauge??? If so does it have a isolator, and are there any air bubbles in the line from the isolator to the gauge???

My DiPricol isolator has a slow leak and needs attention every 3-4months....I have the same description as you do, FP slowly drops while driving nd never fully recovers....I would check for air!!

thanx. I was thinkin it might be somethin like that, but i havent had to much time to mess with it. The fitting on the side of the isolater that goes to the gauge looks like it might be leaking, kinda turnin greenish like its been wet.

If you happen to over tighten feral fitting they will develop a leak over time!!!
Swap in a new one, top off the fluid in the isolator and line....and be on your way!!!!
