I work where these are built and the turbo wouldnt even fit in the engine bay of a dodge. That one looks sweet though, yur gonna have some nasty lag with it and when it does spool itll knock the head through the hood.
Come on, that's not that big, the motor only weighs 62K lbs!!!!

You'd really have to notch the frame to get that thing to fit in a compound setup.... totally crazy... I love it...

Im an engineer for CAT, these things shake the earth when they are in the test cells. The pistons pretty much look like 5 gallon buckets.

DZ2, Well if it doesn't work out for your buddy...I'll try it under my K31 on the race engine...it has a nice looking compressor section....Might be a s500 derivative....but I need some part numbers and scale to the pix....Nathan will definitely know. KS

It should work well in a compound setup; I'm guessing it's an HT3B or similar, which are OEM on Cummins N14 engines. It's not a BHT3B, based on the lack of a MWE slot in the compressor housing. My guess is either a 71mm or 74mm compressor (those seem to be fairly common); either one would make a great bottom turbo for twins.

Unless that nut is extremely small that looks like a 86 to 94 turbine. And the two stage compressor is pretty large...alot bigger than my k31...Need a measuring tool in those picks or some accurate numbers...Cranes are pretty low rpm pieces of equipment for noise purposes so If it makes 500hp at 2000rpm...that would be 1700 to 2000ft-lb give or take. On 14L....Hmmmm. KS
