there isnt anything wrong with it, i just took it completely apart, i had to cut the packaging tape and unwrap it this morning. they bought it for a crane, then decided not to install it, the crane was being scrapped. the compressor inlet is 6"

i am pretty sure that this turbo would successfully separate the head from the block in a pretty spectacular manner. i am gonna call cummins nw, and try to find out just what it is. definately bigger than an s400.

thats not a turbo, this is a turbo

I work where these are built and the turbo wouldnt even fit in the engine bay of a dodge. That one looks sweet though, yur gonna have some nasty lag with it and when it does spool itll knock the head through the hood.

there is another way to spool it up quick, send it to Innovative Turbo and have them swap it over from jurnal bearings to twin ceramic ball bearings, and then run it on the bottom as a compound setup, lol

How many cubes in a litre? Isnt like 61?

I was tryin to get an idea how big it is, cause I know some 12L detroits had the K31, though I am sure it is much differant than the ones guys are runnin on there 5.9s. Basally I was just tryin to figure out if you could actually use it as a bottom turbo with enough fuel and a big ol external waste gate.

6" inducer?

Isnt a K31 around 2.8?

What does an S400 come off of?

Maybe you should get off of DTR and call Nathan Wright and see what he thinks. You may be on to something #2...
