fog light bulbs

What are the brightest bulbs I can run without burning anything up.

IMO, the best mod is the one where you use high beam bulbs. This is a very effective and worthwhile mod. It is more wattage than low beam bulbs.

The harness and instructions can be gotten through Genos Garage. I have used this for many years now with no issues.

Just google 9005 conversion and you will find that it is very easy to modify a 9005 (high beam bulb) to fit the 9006 fog light socket. No extra wiring necessary.
