joe:

2WD for me too! And we can "stage" according to our "dial-ins" so you can leave ahead of
me if "bama" is correct on your 14.05 time. That sure seems fair to me.

WOW
Con Grads on the great numbers.

I wish I knew you where going to Dyno I would have made time to come out and cheer you on.

I have been so busy lately I haven't even had time to read through the site and see what all is going on.

Just as a heads up I will be getting with Wayne and the race track to see about running the trucks sometime in July.

I am still trying to figure out out you shift as fast as you do to keep up with the engine. I am starting to think that you have some sort of air shifter like they use on bikes.

Great job breaking over 600Hp.
See ya

Oh, don't get all riled up about that Joe guy. He magically appears to run his mouth on every thread about Don's injectors. Don is right, his antics are basically a part of the scenery now. I don't have any axe to grind about anybody's injectors-my truck has stock ones and will remain that way for the foreseeable future. You don't have to have an axe to grind to wonder what's wrong with him-old dude just kinda pops out at you like a retarded jack-in-the-box anytime you read about injectors here.

He's basically a harmless oddity once you see his posts a few times. Kinda like the village idiot that never hurts anybody, except behind a keyboard.

Following Don's recommendations, I'm keeping the EZ below level two and adjusting and tuning from there to get a handfull of settings where it seemed to run best.

As I suspected the truck ran best and made the best power with the pressure added. With those settings it laid down a best of 577 hp and 1052 torque with the old agressive TST box. The twins TST box has always been down on peak power, but on level 1 EZ it laid down 570 hp and 998 torque.

He was right about them liking the spray... it jumped up tp 615 hp and 1119 lb-ft TQ with just a small .052 jet! On that run the hp climbed over the 500 mark at 2600 rpms and stayed above until 3150

John,

I see the older runs without FLUX were with EZ on level 4 - But these new runs were with the EZ on level 2, right?

So I'm guessing the FLUX picked up more than the 30 hp showed... Cause you had to make up for the 2 levels lower on the ez

Hey Chris,

Thanks! Sorry we missed you, but I'm definitely up for a local GTG. We need to go hit the track together one thursday night, too I just hope the 6 speed can keep withstanding my yankin'....

Hey Tommy,

Yes, you're correct. On the stock sticks I always ran level 4 with the EZ. It made the best power and made the truck run the best SOTP. Don said my injectors looked good when he took them apart, but others have had the erosion problems. I stopped at level 2 on these sticks, but IMO power would be better on higher levels. Not sure what that number would be, but I'd guess another 10-15 hp.

Hopefully I'll be a little closer to 600 at IRP with a little more tuning...

Stock sticks had 28,000 on them, and around 24,000 of that was with the EZ. It was on level 4 the day I put it on and stayed that way except for a couple times on the dyno when I tried different settings. I've put a few bottles of either DieselKleen or Standadyne through it, but it's not on a regular basis.
