Flux 3's Looking for input

Hey guys,
I was talking to Scott out at Mass Diesel and he was suggesting that I go with F3's. I was thinking that F3's would be way to much but he said that he has used them LOTS of times on trucks with a single charger and single pump. He did say that they would work good with a stock pump but would work better with a modded single or 2 pumps.
So what do you guys think anybody run F3's with a stock pump or modded pump? I'm trying to get to about 650 hp.
Thanks,
Topper

IMO the 3's are good 750 HP . Maybe more.
For that you will need more air & more pump.

give shane at wicked diesels a call, ask him what flux injector his arson 3 kit is good for, I know mine pushes fuel pretty dang good to my flux 2's, and I will have a rail pressure gauge to see how good it does in a few days here.

EDIT just looked at their site, they claim support for up to 691 hp with the arson 3 kit.

150 stix are big for a 62 in my opinion, also I drain mine with 100's and smarty on 5. I am hoping to try an arson3 as soon as funds allow so let me know if they work with flux3's.

I'm running 2.5's with my charger, I think that's about as big as I can go and still use it as a DD and tow. I think they are great, tho... I don't have any problems at all with them.

I ran f3s with floorit stg 2 and a 64/71/14. They did smoke pretty good if you lug it, but they can be driven pretty much smokeless.

I would say get the biggest Injectors you are comfortable with. No one says you have to run the electronics on kill all the time. I wish I skipped the Flux 2's I had and went big to begin with. Without electronics I'm at 537 (shut down at speed limiter) and the truck is a blast to drive and smoke is very controllable.
When you decide to step up and add another turbo below the one you have you will already have the fuel you need without paying again for bigger injectors.
Just my two cents.

I run flux 2's with my 62/71/13ss and with the electronics set on kill they are too much injector.Egt's will jump over 1500* in the blink of an eye.I got them sized for when I get the funds to put an S475 under my 62.

Wide open, I'll hit 1500 at the end of the track at 50 lbs of boost. In town, it drives pretty good, I can get it hot, but it takes some doing. I have to be getting on it hard with a load.

Sorry, I can't give you exact temps off the top of my head, it's been 5 months and some change since I drove the truck...

Hey guys,
I guess when I go with injectors I'll look at the 2.5 or 3 then I'll have room to grow. What do you guy think my hp is with the Smarty and MP 8 and the rest of my mods. The truck runs good but when I went to the Silver 62 it kinda feels like it lost a little. I think that it needs some more fuel.
Thanks for the responses!

I would guess low to mid 500's. How hot do you get now with everything turned up?
I would also guess that if you upgraded to Flux 3.0's it would put you somewhere around 430 on injectors only.

I put down 598.7 with Flux 3s and a 64?71/13.It doesnt get hot until at the end of the track.I have made runs at 12.4 & 12.5 @ 107.This was done with a Early 2004;which need a bigger injector to make the same power the 04.5+ do.This was also on a weak stock CP3.Smarty TNT/r and EZ.

I have videos of my Flux 3s and also videos of my DDP 150s.Lets just say Flux is the way to go on a CR motor.I daily drive the truck and get 540 miles out of a tank easy.Thats hilly freeways from Fallon,NV to Fresno,CA and still enough diesel to run around town for 3 days.If you want smoke, they will smoke. But mine don't smoke until I want them too.All depends on your right foot and tuning.

I have 3.3's and ran a stg2 Floor-It pump and a 66 for a little over a year. The pump will keep up and did keep up till I switched to the TnT/R program. I tested them and pump wasn't keeping up so I have duals now. You can generate enough heat to do anything with them. I now have a S400 as a street single and are still enugh injector for it.

2.5's will support 630ish on fuel and will be very driveable with a single. They work great with a 64/71/14 for sure. They can be smokeless on the lower SMarty levels, and even on the full tune, you can drive smoke free if you don't hit it too hard locked up below 55mph. I would go f3's and dial it back for daily use
