With the Smarty alone, you would not have any issues at all with rail pressure drop and the Flux 2's
Last question...Do you think the truck will be smokey with only the flux 2's and towing about 10-12 thousand pounds? My truck runs clean now with my current mods.

What altitude do you tow?

I'm really looking for the truck to be at 500-550 HP and still need to be able to tow the travel trailer with all other power adders turned off or real low.
Thanks for the help.

Unless he lugs though. I run the same turbo, and it is wonderful, but if you are lugging at all,, less than 2000 rpm with heavy weight you will smoke lots, if you want to put out big hp. My 5er allways has a black film on it after a trip. And that was before injectors. That is why I went with smaller injectors, (by the way, I wanted flux ones, and I think I am going to upgrade to them. But I couldnt get them in the timeline that I needed them) I am in the low 500's before injectors and stock cp3. Pulls awesome.

Could you clarify "hardly smoke" and "smoke is not bad at all"? I do want to upgrade my CP3, but not right away, and I'm wondering whether I would enjoy the F2's, or if I should go with the F1's. Right now I keep my EZ on 1 and set my Juice on 4-6 depending on how hot it is and how much smoke I can tolerate. On a good day with temps in the 70's or below, I can put the Juice on 6x1 and the only smoke I get is a brief puff when I floor it until the boost gets up to 5-10 psi. Cruising and heavy boost situations are no smoke at all. This is for a daily driver in Los Angeles county, and I don't want to look like a chronic polluter. I don't tow.

I am having a hard time understanding these Flux injectors. As they are being explained they will add 40hp over a set of 90hp DDP injectors so they must be 130hp injectors? But then later in the post it says they will add 40hp on a stock truck with stock injectors? So are Flux 1's 40hp or 130hp?
I have a II SPS 62/14 turbo, Quad Race and I want to get a Smarty. What Flux injector would work best for me? I will probably get a GDP 392 and dual line kit to help the stock CP3 and I might even try to mod it myself but I don't think I will be buying a new high performance CP3. I live in a small town and I don't want to be smoking my friends every time I drive around. So I would like to keep smoke to a minimum. Thanks for the help, Tom J.

You can't rate a injector on a common rail unless you fix the timing, pressure, duration...
"A" injecotr may make 40 hp on one truck...and 2x that on another if his has different electronics.

Maybe I am not asking the right question.
Lets use my truck as an example. 06 with II SPS 62/14 turbo and a Quad race box. I assume that if I buy and install the DDP 90hp injectors I will get somewhere from 70-100 hp gain. Now if I decide against going with the DDP injectors and buy Flux 1's instead will I see 40hp net gain or 40hp more than the DDP's, which would net 110-140hp. Thanks, Tom J.

"40 HP" is on a stock truck...
They will make more with a Quad Race pushing it. I would go with the Flux's.
Your not driving a 2nd gen anymore...no need for EH'd.

If you are not interested in upgrading your CP3, then stick with Flux 1's. Don only had one injector (Flux 1) until the modded CP3's came out. Bigger injectors are not always better, especially when it comes to the CR motors.

So paying twice as much for half the horsepower gain is the better option because?
DDP(90hp) vs. Flux 1's(40hp)
Not to mention I can go downtown right now and have DDP's installed before the end of the day vs. taking my truck apart and waiting days until I get the Flux injectors back in the mail.
I am not trashing Flux injectors. Everyone that has them seem to love them and many of the people that do have them have had DDP's. I am just trying to get a good explaination of what makes them better.
I understand that they are a much tougher tip and can handle more pressure and that is very important to me and why I am interested. But, I do not understand all the different hp ratings people are throwing around. I don't have the finances to spend $1,100.00 (Flux) to get just 40hp if I can spend $800.00 (DDP) to get 90hp.
