Flameball shifter ****

I thought I would put a pic of it in my member gallery. It was bought at www.flameball.com and is lighted by a led on the inside.

Cool! When I was looking for a gear shifter, covers/replacements I couldn't find anything like that so I had to impravise. I got a piece of Buffalo hide on the shifter and a Deer *** **** on the transfer case lever.

After visiting the flameball website I may go with their 2 1/8" solid ivory color shift ****. Seems like they supply the correct thread insert and jam nut for our 10mm x 1.5mm shaft.

Flameball was a pleasure to deal with and a nice product. the only thing I would have done different was ordered it without the hole for the light predrilled as I was able to run the wires up the inside of the shifter to hide them and put the led through the treaded insert.

030303,
When I ordered mine I just told them what make/model I had and they took care of supplying the correct thread and size.

I got one from jeg's, it's a hurst shifter ball that has the same shift patern as the 6 speed, although you will have to buy a reducer to get it to fit the thread. I have pic's in my gallery.

snapp919, where did you get the reducer at? You have exactly what I wanted. What is the diameter of the Hurst shifter?

Original Junior, I had originally ordered the ivory ball from flameball wich came with about three or four differnet reducers. The ball wasn't really as big as I thought it would be and had a yellowish tint to it and didn't match the instument panel. So I ended up buying the husrt 6 speed shifter from jegs (16mmX1.5'' thread size) part#530-163-0016. Luckily one of the reducers that flameball had sent fit it perfect. You might be able to call them and order just a reducer for our trucks or if you know of a place that would sell such a reducer. I don't know the actual diameter of the hurst ball, but it does look just about perfect for our trucks. I have gotten many compliments on it.

Snapp919, looks good!

After seeing your Hurst **** installed I decided to go with it. I'm having a machine shop make a threaded insert for me.
