I don't have any of those options. I can change the tune, read and clear codes, and check my CALID number. That's it......

My temps stay at a good range probably due to the turbo. RKL is supposedly "Road Kill Larry" and just gives a few more hp. Unfortunately DS will not tell you what the Predator does to make the power on the different levels. I already asked them. All they will say is that on the higher settings we are pushing the limits of the stock fuel system and the stock trans will destruct post haste.....

I don't know the exact difference but I bet it's a 40hp increase, by my seat of the pants... Watch those egt's.... In order to be able to use any of this extra power you've got to get a better turbo... It's just one thing after another...

I have spoken with Johan a few times explaining to him that us guys who like to stack NEED to know what the different tunes do and how they do it. He understood and explained that lower tunes (tow and performance) are timing and duration only. The higher tunes (extreme and above) use timing, duration, and pressure. He also gave me a 200hp tune that had no pressure and there are other tunes with no timing, etc.

Trik that's funny, Johan in an e-mail told me that there was no timing in tow or per only extreme. I wonder which it is?

Edit; I just went and reread the message to make sure I wasn't mixed up and he did say specifically "03-pre04.5 trucks". Maybe there is significant differences between the programming of the 555 and 600 series?

Maybe... 05's are stuck with that third injection event and retarded timing to reduce emissions.

Here's part of an email from Johan directly....

It also varies between the years what we do tunes wise.
The main thing we adjust in all our tunes are injection timing and
duration of course.
Then there are a few limit tables for timing and duration that needs to
be raised with the higher hp tunes.
There are also a few torque limiter tables that needs to be addressed.
The above mentioned tables are adjusted in all tunes to different
levels, diesel is pretty easy as usually more fuel will yield more
power, we just have to figure out the limiter tables and then massage
the duration table to act smooth so driveability is acceptable.
The higher hp tunes we increase the rail pressure table, this is not
touched on any stacking tunes
