Finally encoded the video from the mudraces

Well, here are a few shots of the mudraces, then the tug of war at the end. I made 2 versions, a 4mb quicktime movie, and a 13mb mpeg-4 video. Lemme know what you guys think. About the tug of war I lost, I was in 4hi, spinning 'em in lockup in 2nd, but my tranny was getting hot quick, so I went ahead and gave up, the next one, where I win, is in 4lo

Mpeg-4 video, 13mb or so:

Quicktime video, 4mb or so:

28mb high-res quicktime with lower music volume

fixed the link
Lemme know what you guys think.

The funny part is my rear tires, are the ones I won the burnout comp. with. They literally have 1/16th" on 'em When racing, at the end of the 200' track, I was doing about 50mph. I need to get a lift + tires, I'd definetly win then

Wouldn't we all like neighbors like that. We would get to watch someone else beat their truck senseless and spend their money on tires.

Hey john can you get a vid with audio of just the trucks during the tape? I want to hear the engine sing! and di he blow his driveshaft?

Hm wait it looks like you beat the first guy and the second guy beat you. then it seems you played tug of war and while you moved him, he moved you all the way to the right. then you didnt give up and he smoked his tranny or something? yours must have been getting pretty hot eh?

He lost his rear axle yolk, because the truck wasn't setup right. Add 6" blocks, then have the pinion angle at 0!! (completely horizontal) and no traction bars, you get alot of wheel hop, spring deformation, and a dead yolk. I'll remake the video in .wmv since a few people are having problems, but currently my main computer is down, and I had to do it on a mac. I'll go ahead and remake it, but with lower volume for music, and in wmv.

If I were Blue's neighbor I'd periodically hook his truck up to the back of mine and park it a few blocks away

You couldn't do that. It weighs more than a ricer.

Well, uhm.. I'd guess I'd have to mushroom-stamp your truck with my brush guard

That's assuming your stock height truck could hit mine.

Less than stock height considering there's about 450lb hanging on my front end, and my tires had full tread

I guess we'd have to see where it lands, eh?
