Fiberglass bedcover

I am new to the site and will probably be pestering the crap outta alot of you, however I just bought a 2005 2500 CTD quad cab and I want to put a bed cover on it b/c it is too high to load my bikes into and I will be pulling a trailer. I have checked some sites, but informed that I have to place an order for 25 or more (mainly only sell to dealers). I was wondering which ones you guys might be using, durabilty, and price. Thanx a ton-J

If you are talking about fiberglass tonneau covers, there are a number of good ones that should be available locally. SnugLid SL, ARE, Leer has one, etc. I have had SnugLid and Leer before and both were good covers. Some sites to look at and then find local dealer. If you are looking for hard tonneau covers.

My Leer was about $850 and the SnugLidSL was about $1050. The SnugLid XL is on the high side, but one the best for fit, durability and looks.

Here is another Hard Cover Tonneau cover. A little different though as it sits FLUSH with the bed rails compared to fitting over the bed rails. They say weather tight though but a lot less $$ then full covers. Just something different.

I like the look of this one and I love the obvious durability. I expect to have kids and teenagers sitting on my tonneau, so I don't think the fiberglass will do it, and the soft covers are obviously no good. Also, my aux-tank's filler-neck sticks up about 1.5 inches above the bed-rail. This cover appears to sit up a little higher. I'm going to make a trip to my nearest dealer (about 60 miles) and check it out. It's a little expensive, so I'm going to have to wait, but I really need the bed covered.

I wish the Undercover guys would make a long-bed version!

Look at the Undercover or Versacover. It's not fiberglass, it comes in any color you like, as long as you like black. Lightweight, easy to remove, and you can sit/stand on it No Gelcoat. You only have to buy one, it needs to ship to business address. It don't leak.

I'd love to, but they don't make one for a long-bed... Otherwise there would be one on it now.
