Fender flare question?

hello all
I have been debating for a while and I am getting no where. My truck is a two tone with black and silver, I was wanting to put some fender flares on it but I am having a hard time figuring out what color I should do them in. If any one has a two tone truck with flares please let me know so I can see them if you have a picture in your gallery. I did a search and could not find anything. I was thinking on going with silver to match the bottom color, but again it would be nice to see them on some one's ride. Thanks for any help.

With your color scheme and the black nerf bars, I think the silver to match bottom color would be better. I am not partial to the two tone schemes, but I have seen pics of flares that are color matched to the bottom color. Those look pretty good, I can't remember what site the member was on.

Thanks for the reply, the more I think about it the more I may end up going with the silver, I just wish I could see an example before I drop the cash to have them painted. Again thanks

RamWheelsBy4,
Thanks for the posting, those look awesome. I am going with the silver paint scheme.

siotwo,
I am not sure which ones I will be going with. I remeber not to long ago there was a thread that had a compnay that would paint them for you and send them ready to mount. i will do a search to find out. If I remeber correctly it was cheaper then Bushwacker.

Thanks all for the replies, that is why this site is so great!!

Thom

Alot of people here say not to get bushwacker. They rub the paint.

ATS, Xenon, and Warn make flares. The first two may offer them painted. Not for sure. I am thinking of getting Warn flares when my piggy bank fills back up!

Lots of companies on e-bay sell them already painted if you give them the paint code. I've just put my H2 rims on and I think I'm going to need some now too. They stick out about an inch more than the stock ones did...

....you could download any of a number of free imaging software packages, copy the pic of the truck posted in this thread, and color everything to your hearts content; Do a Google Search for "Free Photo Editing Software" - you'll get loads of "try for 30 days before you buy" stuff, should be PLENTY of time to pick your colors.....

I think you'll be happy with the silver painted flares. I recentlly installed the Warn 4xFlares on my rig, I had them coated with the spray-on bed liner (arma coatings), they fit very well, don't rub the paint and look pretty good as well (photos in my gallery).

I have 2-tone flares.

I have the Bushwacker OEM flare. My truck is Patriot Blue main/Silver bottom two tone paint scheme. I had the flares painted to match both colors exactly, since I didn't want the flares to look too obvious (just my taste). Check my reader's rigs for pics.

Are the Mopar flares made by ATS, and if so, are they the exact same flares? I think the ATS flares look good and blend in with the Dodge very well.
