I was looking to buy a S&B intake for my 2007 5.9 I didnt know if anyone knew much about them or if i should try a diffrent brand? thanks alot

Love mine. Easy to install, replaces the restrictive factory tube, looks good, and the price was definitely right.

I mean for the money, it does just about the same thing as every other intake I have ever seen...

Keep and eye on Ebay, there was a guy selling them for best offer a while back. I think I paid under $180 SHIPPED for mine.

I have the Volant which is similiar but wish I had went with the S&B cheaper and more filter options as of right now I cant find a DRY replacement filter for it.

I do like mine. Only been on a week or so and it definately makes the turbo scream now, I also removed the silencer ring at the same time. I would say it is a great choice.

Put one on a couple/few weeks ago and I'm happy with it. Got it new off eBay for $175 shipped. For the price its very hard to beat.

You guys don't think the oil wetted air filter element will cause any problems?

I was thinking hard about the S&B intakes, but I was worried about the oiled filter and was looking more at the the dry flow filters.
