fed up and going with analog guages
Ok, i have tried the outlook and it does not do what it is suppose to. I have gone through 6 of these things and none of them will adjust on the fly or defuel. I have tried everything that i can. Since thosefeatures are0 the only reason that i went with the outlook i am now going to send it back, get my money back, and go with analog guages. My question is this. Where can i get a pillar that i dont have to cut the grab handel off, replace the whole thing. Also i really want 3 guages not just 2, so it will fill up the whole pillar. What is a good choice for the third guage. I have a 6 speed so i dont think i need the trans temp. I was thinking fuel pressure but i am told that i dont need one of these either. Any sugestions please. Also i would like to see some pics of pillar instaled guages, 1, 2, and 3 guage pillars please.

Molded in the Factory Taupe/Gray Color and is Grain Matched by Using the Same Material Supplier the Factory A Pillar is Constructed from.

Check out the pics in my gallery. Thats the Srt pillar from Geno's garage and the autometer cubby mount that I cut down for only two gauges. The fuel pressure gauge will let me know when I need to change the fuel filter since I tapped into the line post filter. Good luck

I went with EGT, Boost, and Fuel Pressure gauges on my six speed truck. It saved my but as I have lost my stock lift pump at about 25,000 miles. If I had not had a gauge I might have not know the problem as my pressure was fine at idle, but when I put a load on the engine it quickly dropped to 0 psi. I know that the cp3 will pull fuel but not very well through a locked up stock lift pump.

To get both EGT and boost I'm running a Westach combo gauge in the SRT pillar and love it. Check out my gallery for pictures.
I've also been hearing from several sources that the lift pumps in the 3rd gens are going out, so I'll be adding a fuel gauge also. I know of one injection pump that has been replaced and blamed on a failed lift pump. The fuel gauge will be going down lower on the dash. As Jason mentioned, if you have someone test your lift pump pressure, make sure its done under load. Pressure at idle don't mean jack.
