I was just wondering if anyone was running a similar setup as me that is a good 1/4 racer. Im tryin to firure out if my 0-60 time of 7.6 and my 1/4 mile time of 16.0 is slow becouse I am just expecting to much, im launching wrong or if my clutch is just slipping too much. Im not sure how accurate some of the readings (i.e. boost and tranny slip) are correct in this attitude monitor. Maybe its harder to move 7100lbs. than I thought

 

You need to fill out signature completely with year, engine, trans and gear specs so we can answer better.

Standard Juice/Attitude on basically stock 325/600 auto with 3.73 gear and conservative 5-8psi 2wd launches at the track I ran low to mid 15s. Mid to high 7s for Attitude 0-60 seems about right.

Add signature and see what everyone thinks.

 

Im not the best with computers I think this might do it. Also wanted to say that I think I may be lacking in my reaction time. I once tried drag racing in a ford festiva at the local door slammers night. It smoked so bad the anouncer was makin mosquito killin jokes. People would ask me if they had to send someone out and tap me on the shoulder and tell me to go. I think I will stick to the dirt racing.

Just so you know reaction time does not affect ET. Now if you just completely blow the tires off and the truck doesn't move it would be slow breaking the beams making you cut a bad light and have a bad ET. That would be hard to do in truck but normal in high powered drag cars.

 

You also have a 6spd, which will be slower while racing. Takes too long to shift, and you can't keep the turbo boosted.

 

Will the short shifter help my times after I install the new clutch? Ive been ready to order it a few times now but as soon as I do I will read a post that someone says its a bad idea.
