Single Pump on Brian Carters truck, ive heard that thing is 1300hp he's putting down 1/8 passes better then what W1cked did in his 10.70 pass. Just got the word from greg he was running II duels at the Hot rod drag week during that 11.17 pass. If he could keep a trans. in it that thing would fly.

 

NADP truck ran 11.53 last year on a single pump.

 

I wanna know the fastest pass on #2 only.

I ran a 7.77 at 89 mph eighth, and 12.33 at 99.1 mph quarter with a completely stock CP3, 90hp DDP injectors, and single 62-14 turbo. This was on the speed limiter shortly after the eighth due to the 28'' tall tire in my 06. I then went to dual cp3's and got rid of the speed limiter. The truck slowed down for some reason to a 7.84 eighth, 12.21 quarter.

 

With smaller tires as soon as i get some bugs figured out I'm going to try to make a run to texas(since they have a track open in the winter and the one here is closed) and I hope to run a 10 on nitrous. I think that with the HP ill have I should be able to do it easily, 800+ in a single cab...should be fun.

 

Apparently the banks Type-R (they say it's the Type-D but they also say it is a road race Type-R engine) it has run 8.21 on what they say is a single cp3....yeah it's a Dmax, but it's also a Cp3.....

 

but its not a truck, its a tubed frame fiberglass bodied freak of nature....doesnt count in my book. Not fair to compare it to 7K pound trucks

I agree. There was a guy on Diesel Bombers that I was trying to make that very point to. He said it had the record for a truck, true in one way but at what point is it no longer a truck? IMO it's when the entire vehicle is a built from scratch tube frame with a molded body slapped on......That's not a truck. It's not gonna haul or tow anything....I'm more impressed by trucks that still have original frames and suspensions, along with all the necessary things like trac bars and roll cages, etc...
