Fast Clutch??? 6 or 12 button??

idk if its the clutch or the 5600 because i put them both in at the same time (5600 freashly rebuilt)... but my truck was one slow shifting beast with the 3600 6 and everytime i change the fluid i find lots of brass... makes me think its draging
