the only way to know for sure is to have a fuel pressure guage. If the pressure is significantly dropping when you stand on it, then yes, you would see performance gains by going with a FASS system. If it's not dropping, then no, you wouldn't see a performance gain. If you have stock injectors it's not likely that you would see a gain because the stock system can keep up pretty good even with a programmer. BUT if you go with bigger after market injectors....then you would most likely need a FASS system to get the full benefit from the bigger injectors. The other benefit is that the FASS system will probably outlive your truck, extremely well made and would be the last you ever bought for that truck. Hope this helps

Even if your chip or downloader isn't causing the fuel pressure to be pulled way down, I have heard that a pusher pump will still help the truck run smoother and the CP3 will be much happier with 10 - 15+ psi all the time. I plan on getting the Glacier Diesel setup in the near future.

Im looking into gettin a glacier diesel setup too. Kinda worried im gonna need it sooner than i thought tho. I've been running with my fuel pressure really low for about 2 weeks now. Its usually at 5 or below just cruising and never gets above 10. Do Ya'll think my injector pump will be ok if i fix it soon or i have already done some damage to my VP44

Well I can pretty much guarantee you didn't do damage to your VP44, unless you had one laying around and ran over it . The Common Rail motors have a CP3

As long as you kept SOME pressure to the pump I think you'd be OK
