Hey all,
Got an '06 CTD 2500 Mega Cab. Although I haven't driven it yet, and won't for another month (I'm still in IRAQ!), I've got an AEM Brute Force cold air intake, Banks Dual Monster exhaust and High Ram, BD short shift kit, and Quadzilla XZT sitting at the house ready to install. Also lifted 6" and 35" tires on the truck. I'm just looking to make the truck set people back in the seats, maybe turn the tires a little bit, and accelerate with authority. Do I need a FASS product? If so, what? Will it add HP or just efficiency and dependability?

I would put it on. Besides if you are buying all this stuff right now you know that you are going to add more down the road.

It won't add any HP until you're fueling heavily enough to tax the stock fuel delivery to the CP3

Maybe with a box that increases pressure, but it wouldnt hurt if you have the money....


And id go with the Glacier setup btw, quieter, lasts longer, havent heard a complaint about it either...

Sounds like you're going to have a lot of fun when you get home.

Just thought I'd ask if you have gages in that list somewhere. With where you're heading, gages should probably be pretty high on the list. My FASS is a great piece of gear. It was a pretty easy install and has been as dependable as anything on the market that I would have considered. One of the FASS factory guys hangs around here a lot and is nearly always available for questions.
