fass pump
how loud should the pump be? mine has a pretty good wine to it. is that normal?

Seems to be. You can add rubber isolators to quiet it down or do like I do.

TURN UP THE RADIO!...... I need some music, got to give me some more.

Don't know about anyone else's but on my 04.5 you could definitely hear the FASS pump in or out of the cab...very distinct whining noise.

what about the stock fuel line? do i leave it or take it out?

I left all my stock stuff hanging there just in case I want to put it back on for some reason. I just wrapped up both ends to keep garbage out......

I did what DZ did...left the lines hanging there and plugged the ends so nothing gets in.

Some are louder than others. The 95 GPH is quieter than the 150 GPH. (more load on the motor) Noise is also a sign of tank restriction. Might try the 5 gallon bucket test to see if that helps any.
