Fass Blowing Relay

This is the second relay I have replaced in 6 months. Shuts the whole pump down, 0 pressure on the fp gauge. Amazingly the rail pressure seems to be ok, guess the cp3 can still pull enough fuel. Any thoughts where to start looking for the problem.

Check how you have the wires connected at the relay and at the Fass, make sure your trigger wire is not tied into the load wire, and vise/ versa. Also check the spade connectors for a quality connection, look for any corrosion or hardened wires.

Re post your findings,

Yah, something's wrong with your wiring, the fuse should blow before the relay. Maybe you have the trigger lead mixed up with the power lead.

Looks like relay was geting wet with wiper fliud. The position is on the firewall drivers side. I will use electric tape around the relay until I figure how the wiper fluid is leaking down the firewall.
