B99 Will smoke a heck of a lot less for sure. I ran it on and off last year quite a bit and it's quite noticeable the lack of smoke.

Take out the EZ, Ensure your air filter is pristine clean, play with your timing on the Smarty... and if all else fails pull the fuse on your GDP 392. I found on my Smarty that level 0 gave me more smoke with more turbo as it wouldn't spool enough to properly burn any fuel...just a thought. KS

id think smarty on #1 ( timing only) with every thing else off , run bio, and drive the **** out of it to make sure its good and hot.

set that way, even my 120hp stix and " laggy " 66 are almost as cleen as stock..

i would think 2 stroke oil has alot to do with this issue, but thats just me. I can tell by looking at my exhaust if im running 2 stroke oil in that tank or not.

Bio Diesel has methonal in it, Which is exremly clean burning. It is sometime so clean that it will clean every piece of gunk in your tank and lines and plug your fuel filter. There have been some good suggestions. If it were me I'd unplug your fuel fump Use just Smarty on #1 and take your air filter off for the test. Also get the engine as hot as possible to burn your fuel better.

Your injectors are causing the smoke with a turbo thats not spooled. Simply get over it and remove the ez. Fill your tank when empty with b99 and have the smarty set on 1 timing only. Bio doesn't smoke before the turbo spools blipping the throttle. Been running b100 all summer and have not washed the truck in a month ( too busy) rear quarter panel is clean, no soot! That is with smarty on 5! Get ready to change fuel filters after a biodiesel cleanout.

Just gotta find a buddy that'll test it for you and pass you. We don't have diesel emissions tests down here, but on my blazer, it wouldn't come close to passing if I went to a real place, but I have a buddy that has a shop and does inspections and he passes me every time

Its times like these I'm very thankful to live in Texas....We have no testing....is it around the corner?...probably but not to such a strict degree.
Knock On Wood!

Would some quick spooling twins help?

Unplug the MAP. It won't fuel at all.

X2 on living in Texas, but I sure hope that testing isn't anywhere in the future for us.
