F1 injectors
Just sent my injectors away today to be done. I have a 03 dually with the 305 hp motor and a auto tranny. I am going with the Stage 1 set. I have a EZ, a Juice with Attitude, 4" MBRP turbo back exhaust, and a AFE stage 2 intake. Hopefully the stage 1s will be good for me. I am done with performance goodies for a while. I dont want to have to upgrade the fuel system and tranny so I am gonna stop on performance upgrades. I want to get some stuff for the exterior. Let me know what you think of my setup and if you have the f1 injectors.

Do you have the 48re trans? You could be pushing the limits of the trans if the 47re. If you fill out your signature it helps. Get a FP gauge, you have EGT and others correct? to check if you are pulling it down to 0psi my guess is that you would be with the inj and EZ. Good luck.

75 HP, I don't think so. With my box set on the 30 HP setting and pulling heavy it will slip in OD. I have only done it twice and I backed out of it both times to prevent a toasting of the OD clutchs.

pulling heavy loads and romping on the skinny pedal is two different things I would think

The TC will usually slip in OD before the clutches do, but if you commonly slip the TC it will send all kinds of crap through your trans and the rest of your transmission will go. If you haven't slipped your TC, your OD clutches might still be alright. That's why the TC is one of the first upgrades many times. If you were to install a TC, VB, billet input, and a Flex plate your stock clutches would be fine for quite a while.

You're gonna have to get a transmission sooner or later (if you're planning engine upgrades) anyway, if you do it before you need a complete overhaul, you'll save money, plus a transmission with a better TC gets more power to the ground!

Maybe you'll be luckier than I was,...
I ran the Juice alone for maybe a month and granted I jumped on it as often as conditions would allow and I took out my od clutches in that time. They're like paper to begin with so it doesn't take much. Best start saving for that tranny.

I tow in OD all the time. Sure not going to do it in 3rd, forget that. As far as me saving for a tranny. Upgrading it in March. No worries. As far as going out and beating on my truck, Noop it dosen't happen.
