I got the new Dieselpower magazine has an F-550 that the guy installed a Cummins/6-spd manual/gear vendors. It is radical.

Before I bought my truck I actually ordered a F550 and bought a 03 24 valve but backed out on it and bought the Dodge.

Is it the new April magazine? I just checked the mail today waiting for the next issue, but so far haven't seen it yet.

It is the new one. Dieselpower always seems slower to the house than the store.

That has got to be a crazy swap.

If its the one im thinking of, i met the guy in may madness...your right about the no expense I think he said the conversion was something like 20K...and they kept his engine and tranny. Very nicely done but it still had some CEL's that were on.

It is a pretty brazen thing to do. I would say; if ya' want a Cummins just get the Dodge. But, if I bought a Ford and did not like the motor, and I had silly dough, I can see doing it.
