EZ Stacking question

I am of coarse wanting to always add a little more but wanted to know before I do it, I currently run my EZ on setting #2 because I am stacking it with the TST and worry about the higher settings advancing the timing to much or run the rail pressure to high, so would it be safe to run the EZ on setting #4 while stacked??? Thanks for any input, Mike

Banshee,

What order do you have the TST and EZ at the MAP? Does it matter?

cquestad,

Yes, it makes a difference. The TST goes into the block, EZ into the TST, and the stock pigtail into the EZ. If you reverse it you won't get over ~22 psi boost and it'll be down on power.

banshee, does your TST have the new or old software in it? I see by your other post that it makes a differance on how you plug into the MAP, but does it make a differance on how you plug into the fuel pressure sensor. Thanks, Mike

Mike,

I still have the old software . Only the EZ plugs into the fuel rail pressure sensor, so just do that one the regular way. The only common plug is the MAP sensor, so just be sure the TST is first there. When I first stacked mine it ran terrible and set a code, but I found that a pin had pulled out of the EZ MAP harness plug, so you might check those if you have problems.

Thanks...TST first it is. Makes sense, TST needs to see what the REAL boost is, not the EZ's lies!
