Has anyone used extrudehone.com for their injector tips. I called and talked to Jeff Garmon today and he recommended them and the price is great. I got my cummins swap engine bought today, a 06 common rail. Got to get some accessories.

I would go with f1 diesel. They rebuild your inj.and hes about as good as you get. Got a big following on the DTR.

I am sending my tips to them and having them honed! Only reason I did not send my injectors to F1 was because I am replacing my injectors with BRAND NEW marine body cummins injectors and putting my honed tips on them.

being that its a low milage engine i thing you would have no problems just sending out the tips. jim bower is a fantastic person to deal with just give him a call and let him know what your looking to get hp wise and hill set you up. i had mine done 60% witch is pritty big i know tritont has had them do some of his too, thats the reason i had mine done if there good enuff for a bad azz truck like that there good for me

How are Marine Body injectors any different? Iv'e heard only the needle is different.

I was told that the actual marine body could handle more pressure then the factory bodies that come in our trucks. Maybe someone else will chime in
