Yea I just installed mine lastnight. Im not too happy with the sound. Kinda sounds like a sick boat or a school bus. I am going to be searching for a different muffler. I took my 4" magnaflow kit off to put this and wish I wouldnt have. Hopefully someone can chime in and suggest a better sounding muffler. If I could do it over again I would buy their straight pipe kit and buy someone elses muffler. WHAT MUFFLER DO U GUYS THINK I SHOULD PUT IN ITS PLACE TO GET RID OF THAT SCHOOL BUS SOUND. thanks and good luck

I am going to be installing the same kit either tonight or tomorrow. I modified the muffler that came in the kit and I am going to be installing it backwards. I am also thinking about keeping the cat.

Let us know how it goes. Sound clip would be great.
Got a 51 donaldson on now that I punched the baffels and I DO NOT like the sound at all kind of airy and tinny. Everyone else likes the donaldsons, maybe it just the way the baffels got straightened that makes it kinda of tinny and whistly(don't think that's a real word) but anyway I don't like it

The AeroTurbine 5050XL is a direct replacement for the Expandit 5" generic muffler. Same length. I replaced my Expandit 5" muffler with the 5050XL and flat out LOVE the sound of the Aero. It's pricey for a muffler (paid around $110) but well worth it every time I roll my passenger side windows down.

Got mine on and I love it. I shortened the expandit muffler and I tapered the ends of the cat and put it back in as well. Nice and deep, not too loud, but sounds great in my opinion.
