Exhuast took a dump
I have a Banks 4" exhuast on my truck. My story begins on Saturday I was traveling to Phoenix on vacation from the Bay Area. When I was traveling through Pasadena on the I-210 in stop and go traffic. The traffic opened up and I got on WOT to get back to 75 mph. About 65 mph I got this real bad droning noise (sounded like a semi truck) and vibration coming from under the floor board. About thirty miles down the freeway I fueled up. As I was fueling I checked my exhuast. Between the muffler and turbo the exhuast pipe sheared in half . I made it ok to Phoenix, but my question is this. There are two Exhuast shops I am going to visit in the Phoenix area. Should I see if they can weld the two pipes together or should I buy a new system? If any Arizona CTD out there. Can you recommend a good Exhuast shop. Perferably in the Surprise area. The two I am going to visit tomorrow. I looked up in the phone book. They said they do diesel trucks.
Sorry for the long story, but I leave to go back on Friday and want it fixed by then.

could you use some flexpipe just to get you by until you get home? most semi places that have a parts store sell some 4" pipe and parts. never really heard of pipe shearing off before that is crazy
