Exhaust Question
I had a 51" Donaldson put on my truck in place of the stock muffler and cat. It sounds really good to me but I have a question about install. I did not realize that when I got the muffler that it had a 4" intake and a 5" exhaust. I thought it was 4" on both sides. When the muffler shop installed it they sort of stuck the stock 4" tailpipe into the 5" opening and welded it together. Of coarse they made a couple of cuts around the outlet then pressed it down, then welded it. I am worried that this may have caused a bad flow issue. I know that once the exhaust reaches the muffler that it has cooled a bit and flow is slowed anyway. Just wondering. The sound to me is perfect. Sounds awsome when getting on it, and NO DRONE!!!

Sounds like you got a part number wrong when ordering. My donaldson is 4 in 4 out straight through but I don't remember the part number. I wouldn't think it would cause you any problems the way you have it though.
