list the year of your truck will help with recomendations!
I for one would not recomend a Banks exhaust brake. Don't get me wrong it worked great but just try to get a part from them. (They wouldn't sell me a 60 cent o-ring but would sell the whole part for $450 )

The jacobs brakes are the cheapest for our trucks & they are a vacuum operated brake which taps into the vacuum pump making it work twice as hard. They are cheaper because you aren't buying a pump to operate the brake. The Pacbrakes are best on the market, they are air operated & have more holding power than Jacobs, but cost almost twice as much. You are paying for a small air compressor to operate this brake.

I've installed a BD on a Chevy and had a good look at the Jacobs and decided on the Pac-Brake PRXB. They all work but, the Pac-Brake PRXB is better quality than the BD, works on air pressure rather than vacuum, will give you longer trouble free service than the Jacobs and will give you on-board air. It's a small tank, but it works well.

I put in a Pac Brake PRXB, Lary on the site sells them, best price around.
Go to "SHOP DTR" above, they're not listed there but Lary DOES sell them.

Which one
Either the PacBrake or the BD are the ones I would recommend, both come with an onboard compressor. I have the BD turbo mount on my vehicle and like it. I have the air compressor turned up to 72 psi instead of the 65 psi from the factory, slightly more braking.
A friend of mine has a PacBrake on his 48 foot motor home with a Jeep Grand Cherokee as a tag and really likes his setup. Guess it comes down to price in the end.
