Angry Everybody....What is next power source???

Okay yesterday I was goin out to eat with my gf and we were on the interstate when a camaro ss pulled up next to me and waved me on... So i let the cummins eat when we were at about 75...we got up to about 115 when he came bye us. I need to know what I can do to light these guys up no problem. Because the second time he came up he had already shifted down and thats when I got mad cause i was staring at a bowtie....

How do I get more power PLEASE HELP!

Looks like you need at least an Airdog and a bigger turbo. The fast-spooling kind, like a 62/65-13ss...

And put your stock tires back on. It's amazing the difference it makes!

head studs and turbo will bring you the top end performance your looking for. i would not worry about more fuel untill you add more, cooler air. lift pump will help your fuel system stay strong.

Airdog!!!!!

A little birdie told me that FASS may not be there for the long haul to support their products...

Both are good products (had a FASS 150 in my '03), take your pick, but I vote Airdog.

I don't think there's a whole lot you can do, to beat a car at top speed. Don't know which Smarty program you're using but, if you didn't have the speed limiter turned off... I'm surprised you went that fast. You can add all the components you want but, you truck will only go so fast at top speed and that's not as fast as a Camaro

im running one of the betas right now im not even sure which one it is but my turbo spools very quick now...I do have my limiter turned off. My point is the second time he came up he had already shifted down and when we took off he smoked me. I don't need the top end im happy with it now... I want more quickness.

To outrun a stock to mildly modified LS1 car (Camaro, Trans Am, Vette, etc) from a 70mph roll you'll need at least 600-700hp at the wheels. My truck is about nose to nose with my WS6 from 70, but I got spanked badly by a ~820hp 12 valve truck doing the same.

you'll have that with a turbo driven ride. It takes a second to spool were the gasser doesn't have to worry about that and is gone !

I assume you have a stock turbo so, you're not going to do much better at spooling than it does.

At 75mph you were already into the power band and it won't down shift at that speed. Next time... have the other car slow down to 40 or so and you'll probably have a better chance at staying in the lead... unless you get to your top speed.

Race Honda Civics with giant fart pipes and leave the F-bodies alone. If you insist on beating SS's and WS6's get a Kawi ZX14R. They are ugly but fast

No matter what you have, there is someone else out there that is faster. Sorry to burst your bubble but you are driving a barn door at 75MPH and a Camaro has WAY better aerodynamics. Try racing him out of a dig. Maybe you will get lucky and he will spin-out. I beat a ZO6 that way at the drags, he saw I got the jump and he spun all through 1st gear. I consider it as one of my greatest moments, I just wish the camcorder wasnt acting up

three things.... a turbo, injectors and a fuel pump.

If you're not looking for huge hp numbers but, would like a nice fast rig... you can look into a 62/13 turbo, maybe some 90hp injectors and a aftermarket fuel pump of your choice.

That will add at least 100hp to what you already have. It will also set you back about $2500+
