I ment to put Disabling..not enabeling!I read a few weeks ago how people could pull out there ABS PUMP fuse and it would disable the abs, but more importantly disable the top speed of 108ish. So i went to the truck pulled the abs pump fuse. Like everyone else said the abs and brake light came on so I thought it was working. But when I drove the speedo was still working? I thought it was not suppose to work after you pull the fuse?I drove it and slammed the brakes a few times and it still felt like the abs was working. didnt get a chance to see if it would go over 108.Did I pull the right fuse or is it a different fuse or is the 2006 just way different? im making a switch so I can turn the abs on and off when I want but I need to find the right fuse or whatever shuts it off.thanks

Yeah it was me that did the experiment.

On my 03 I pulled both ABS fuses. #6 and #35 One of them is for the ABS pump and the other is for the computer. I never tried pulling one or the other and soon will do a 3rd exerpment to find out if I need to still remove both or hopefull get away with pulling just one so I can wire an inline switch.

Actual top speed before I ran out of road was 127 at 3400ish. That was at 4000' and had a sharp turn comming up. I hope to break 130 someday.

ya, i did the abs pump(#18 on mine) and it didnt seem 2 do anything. what was computer fuse called that you pulled and did your speedo stop wroking?thanks

I just looked under my cover and read the fuse labels and removed any fuse that had to do with ABS or brakes.
