So, simply unplugging the ABS harness will work? What if you just pull the ABS fuse? That is alot simpler than cutting and splicing, especially if only used for track purposes.

The schematics is showing two fuses for the ABS, Fuse 6 (40A) and Fuse 35 (10A). One is from battery and the other is switched. Not sure if both would have to be removed.

I guess I'll have to just try and see!!! A lot easier to just remove a fuse or 2, instead of the harness or splicing an inline swith. I'm at work for the next 2weeks away from home, so if someone can try this out for me it would be great!!!

Do you want me to give it a try?

What do I need to change to try and top it out.

I wish I had access to a GPS so I will have to go by rpm.

Gee if my truck has enough to pull to the redline my truck gonna be flyin at 135 mph

I have a nice streath of straight abandon highway about 2 miles away. Ony bad thing is its at 3800' in elevation.

Let me know if you want me to do it????

Hope I havent used all my 9 lives.

P.S I showed a smokey 6.0 with Bank's stickers on it how us Dodge guys do it... it was on the freeway on the way home. I even let him get 1 truck lenght infront of me up and hill and then I got on it and passed him up. Not a quickley as my old 99 but still good for stock 03 + Smarty + 4.5" lift and 35's. His was also lifted with a blonde in the passanger seat. My Blonde was at work

Sure, just make sure your insurance (both auto and life) is payed up , and ring it out . I'd try the fuses 1st, then unplugging the harness if that dont work. You'll definately know just by rpm's if it keeps pulling, cause instead of 3100@108-112, it will go way higher till the rev limiter kicks in at 35-3600rpm's.

OK I just got back from some top speed runs.

Well to answer your question about removing the ABS fuses #6 and #35

Yes It works

Although it dissables your speedo which is just fine for racing.

My first runs was with the Smarty on #7 and all fuses in place.

Truck defueled at the redline at 3200 rpm in 6th gear speedo read 108mph but its off since I have 35's so figure 119mph

I use the MPH caculator at http://www.f-body.org/gears/

I pluged in the requires fields and used 34" for tire size because 35" never seem to ride at the height even though Toyo's usually run dang near true 35"

I then removed the the fuses, folded in the mirrors, and lowered the tailgate, and loaded Smarty #9 and Yes I can feel a big difference even though it doesnt add HP to 03-04 just lower TQ managment.

I ran it all the way to 3400 RPM because I ran out of road and I was at almost 4,000' elevation and didnt have enough power to pull anymore rpm.

I pluged in that rpm and it caculated out at 126mph which is fast enough for me all alone at 12am screamming down a lonely mountain road with my puppy riding shotgun and still havent returned to work after 11 months since my accident.

Your welcome

Now I wonder..........................Uhhhhh............ ..............Should we make a new post of this?????? I mean, there are some folks here who would love to know this simple free mod instead of paying out the yin-yang for a speed eliminator.

Gee, I think I will. You and a few friends have confirmed this!!!!!!!!

Just ran another test in the day time.

Got it up to 3450RPM for a caculated speed of 132mph.

I hate to be wrong and I would use a gps if I had one so the MPH caculator is the best I can do. If I had an auto which had a higher .69 OD It would be possable to go 138-142mph on a set of toyo's .

Hey I hope you include some of my nerve rattleing test pilot info and get a personal nod. Since I seem to inspire so many
