EGT's getting a lot hotter a lot quicker
Last summer I was able to constantly get on my truck without my programmer (H&S) defueling constantly, come to think of it, it never had to defuel.
This year however, my EGT's consistently shoot up to 1500 causing my truck to automatically defuel.
The weather here is still cool and I'm wondering why my EGT's are shooting up so high and so quickly.
Any ideas?

Are your boost numbers lower when you see the higher egt? For example, when you are on the throttle hard, do you reach a point where the boost stops rising or drops while the egt rise?
If you are seeing this, you may have a leaking inter cooler boot or loose clamp.
Its very common under load after hitting the throttle often. It can creep up gradually or come on quickly. You might be getting a warning/heads up that an inter cooler hose is approaching failure. When that happens, the truck will fall on its face and the EGT will go critical fast.
There are other reasons or causes for higher then normal EGT such as an injector not functioning normal, head gasket leaking, turbo failing etc etc.
The good thing is you have noticed a change. Now is the time to address it.

Oh yeah, forgot a boost leak (stuck wastegate, leaking inter-cooler, leaking hoses, or a cracked plastic tube). Could be such a thing as an extremely dirty air filter.

Just took the truck for a quick spin and this is what I noticed. On stock level, truck runs great, wot all day without a problem. Once I set it to wild (most powerful level), boost jumps to about 38 and almost immediately after the boost reaches max the egt's hit the defueling level which I set at 1250. The egt's however, never shoot past 1500.

I figured a clean filter with the stock air box would be sufficient for a stock turbo truck. Debating on weather I need to look for a after market air intake.
