My truck sits at 730 degrees going 65mph. Is that normal? When I bought my truck I found out it was a repo, which I suspected cause im pretty sure its got a tune. Got cai, boost tube, straight through exhaust. I get pretty good smoke on when i give it the beans. Ive hit 1450. Do I need turbo upgrade?

Numbers sound pretty normal for a mildly tuned truck. If it had stock tuning it wouldn't smoke much if at all.
Hopefully someone else can give you turbo advice.

if you dont give it the beans to often you dont need a bigger turbo.if you like the beans yep you do, if you tow heavy dont go over a 64.the 64 would cool by about 200 degrees and would get you a touch better mpg than a 62 atleast that was the case with my 06.

i was driving on a 6 hour trip and on low to medium hills to flat ground i ran an average of 500-750 degrees. mostly right at 650 with 5-10 pounds of boost and maybe 15........the big hills were of course higher.
