I just signed up to this forum, but I have been browsing through it for a few months now. I’m sure this info is already been posted 1000 times, but I’ll ask again. Everyone has their opinion about which programmer is better, but who has actually done a direct realworld comparison of the different brands? Can anybody comment on having the BD while their neighbor has the EDGE on a similar vehicle? I want on the fly power adjustments along with a digital readout for EGT etc. I’m interested in the usual…outrageous HP and torque along with better mileage. Buy the way I am mainly concerned with the 2006 model info. Thanks for putting up with the new guy.

 

I knew a guy with an edge on his d-max, the readouts were way off, it said he was making 50+PSI of boost, their aint no way. I really wouldnt trust any digital guages, i like the analogs, digital guages are harder for me to read anyways. I race against some guys at the track/street that have edge's on CR dodges and i can eat them, not sure about what you want, and i dont really know how they tow?? Hope this helps.

 

for the 06 edge has ability to read fuel press and a turbo timer.

 

For a while I was told that the BD was having program issues for the 06, but it seams that its straightened out now. I think I'm beginning to lean towards the BD at this point.

 

I just returned an Edge Juice off of my 05...Bullydog triple dog is on order. Edge has very smoooth power...bullydog is more aggressive as you can feel it down low a lot better. Edge Juice with Attitude comes with gauges...so does the Triple Dog/Outlook monitor. paired with the monitors, both are adjustable on the fly.
