Edge juice with hot unlock vs. bullydog with crazy larry which is better

Okay i was just wanting to get sum input on this subject i'm currently running bd with cl and i have all the other tunes sl and pl but i'm afriad to run them. Just curious bout the edge with the hot unlock i need a real wrld chip that i can tow with and everything that why i like both the edge and bd on the fly. If the smarty was a on the fly it would be awesome and in my truck but its not so its out of the question for now till they make it on the fly if ever. So give me ya'll input. Pros and cons. Which is faster and what not.

What other mods do you have? With some pressure, I made 505hp with the Hot Juice - that was before injectors by the way. It does tend to run up the egts pretty high on the hot setting.

Yeah i would love to have a smarty but i need the adj. on the fly option. Just dn't have the time to stop and d/l different programs just to be able to back up to 25k

My Juice has been under the hood for 50k miles through 2 Nebraska salt dumping winters and it's perfectly fine.

well thats proof enuff for me the promblems under the hood were strangly all on duramaxs. But they were close friends and there boxs literaly started melting. I guess what i'm really asking is it worth the time and toruble to go from my bullydog sell it and go to the edge??? Or if there any other chip or program ya'll know of thats comparable. its has to be adjustable on the fly and make alot of power lol

I have the Juice and have used it for over a year now with zero problems. I am very satisfied with it's power and functionality. I keep the box on top of the fuse box. It does get quite warm, but has never given me any problems. EGT's do get hot at level 5 and 6 at WOT.

I have the bully dog PMT with crazy larry, the power band is less than smooth, but it will run like a scalded dog. i have a buddy has a 24V with juice/attitude, (i know its 2 different types of fuel delivery, and alot of differences) but when i just had prog. intake and exhaust, and he had the same, I could mop the floor all day long. also the PMT has pretty much all the gauges you would need to install, allready there unless you run boost fooling or a bigger turbo as in my case i have the PMT as well as separate pricol egt boost and fuel psi. the PMT even has rail press gauge. If i had known about smarty at the time i would have gone with it, but next to that, you cant beat bully dog.

I agree with Nsomniac......
"If i had known about smarty at the time i would have gone with it, but next to that, you cant beat bully dog".
I have read so many good threads on the Smarty and I would probably try it out (if I had the extra $), but I am running BD Cl stacked with the Quad X2 (std stck), and my truck loves it, smooth/clean tune IMO. Great power low and top end with almost 0 smoke. If I crank up the quad I can roll coal with the best, but I prefer to run with the best performance (no unburnt fuel). I have not heard too many great things about the Edge hot juice on the CR. Some folks on here seem to have a great combo when stacking the Edge EZ box with the Smarty. IMO stick with BD CL and maybe a stack to bump pressure. BTW, the Quad box is very small and mounts under the dash. If you decide to switch programmers later, you can stack with most others.

well thats cool. I'm not real big on the staking i have had alot of buddys do it and blow there stuff up. One here recently being smokein05 on here he had the i got a promblem post with the couple of burtn pistons and he was running bd and a quad box so i dn't think i'll be doing that i was just curious about bullydog vs edge no stacking which is better i wish the smarty was on the fly it would be perfect we can all dream i guess
