Common rail trucks only please.

Only those who tow with a Edge Juice with attitude only please respond.

Want to find out if buying a Edge Juice for my common rail 06 will gain me any fuel mileage while towing.

Do not care about power gains or mileage gains non towing.

Do not want hear say or a friend of a friend thing. I only want your personal towing numbers.

Please, hand calculated mileage only. NO OVERHEAD READINGS.

 

I gained about 1mpg while towing. I leave it at Level 1 while towing. I gained about 2mpg empty, leaving it on Level 4 most of the time. I have the HOT Juice by the way....

 

I wish I could say that. I dont know for sure as I did no tests but I think I probably lost a little. Cant beat having a box of some kind though. I also do alot of towing on 5 with the std juice. I know im not supposed to but Im not sure I see the harm in it as long as I watch the heat(always under 1250, always even on steep grades).

 

Gained 3 mpg pulling my boat which is why I bought it. I have not pulled heavy with it yet but can't imagine I've lost anything. I will be pulling a load of cattle next week should be around 18k-19k.

I actually lost about 1.5 while towing. I thinks it because I have a heavy foot though and when I have a trailer behinde me I kick it up to level 4 or 5 and let the coal roll.

 

With just the Edge, gained an honest 1-1.5mpg here.
